Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (variable start times: 06:30-15:00, 08:30-17:00, or 11:00-18:30). Facility performs approximately 30 cases per day across 8 operating rooms. Call coverage to be determined based on departmental needs. Orientation includes 40 hours.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a community hospital setting serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies and a well-rounded case mix; vascular, robotic, and neuro experience is a plus
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• Potential to float between affiliated facilities in the region to support patient care needs

Requirements:

• Active California Registered Nurse license required prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong general OR skills with exposure to laparoscopic procedures, total joint replacements, hernia repairs, cholecystectomy, cystoscopy, colonoscopy, and code response
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
