Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room night-shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

Details

  • Operating Room department within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Float policy requires floating up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Maine or compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • BLS and relevant AHA certifications required (non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but AHA must be completed before start)
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
  • Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome to apply but are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
  • RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
  • Airpods, laptops, and cell phone use are prohibited on the unit
