Description

American Traveler is hiring an OR RN with Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience for a day-shift position with call coverage requirements.

Details

• Work in one of five Operating Room suites, with a sixth located in the labor and delivery department
• Diverse surgical population including inpatients and outpatients, ages infant to geriatric
• Surgical services primarily focused on ortho and trauma, with additional cases in ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
• Willingness to train for ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures if not already experienced
• RN patient ratio of 1:1
• OR team includes RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and other assistive personnel
• Day shift schedule at 40 hours per week
• Call required for evenings, holidays, and weekends

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years

Additional Information

• Provide direct perioperative care within a collaborative surgical services team
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
