Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of operations such as Otolaryngology, Oral and Maxillofacial, Plastic, Dental, and Neurosurgical procedures.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure readiness for diverse surgical cases, including open and endoscopic surgeries.
• Facilitate head and neck surgical procedures and manage free flap reconstructive cases.
• Adhere to sterilization standards and operation protocols for high-complexity cases.
• Ensure accurate documentation with the use of Epic charting systems.
• Maintain readiness to float to different UCSF facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN License and BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience and prior travel assignment experience necessary.
• Must possess AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, with CNOR preferred.
• Experience with scrub and circulate roles is essential.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Strong ability to manage complex surgical cases including craniotomies and reconstructive surgeries.
