Description

American Traveler is hiring an OR RN for a 13-week float position requiring an active MA RN license and rotating day/evening shifts with call.

Details

• OR Float unit position within a hospital setting
• 4x10 or 3x12 rotational day/evening schedule with variable shifts
• Includes weekends, call coverage, and at least 2 short calls each 4-week schedule
• Rotation includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
• 4x10 evening shifts run 1p-11p; day shifts run 7a-5:30p M/T/Th/F and 9a-7:30p W
• 3x12 evening shifts run 11a-11p; day shifts run 7a-7:30p M/T/Th/F and 9a-9:30p W
• When scheduled for weekends on 4x10, shifts shift to 12-hour blocks with 8 or 10-hour shifts elsewhere in the week to meet contracted hours
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration, including both NURSYS and BON
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties within a float OR team
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
