Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a minimum of 2 years of inpatient OR experience and scrub competency across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Surgical services unit covering general, GYN, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine cases
• 17-room OR suite staffed 24/7
• 12-hour D/N rotating shifts, with day shift starting at 7a and night shift starting at 7p
• 36 hours per week
• Required to work every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday
• On-call required once per schedule
• May float to Moakley OR as needed

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical specialties
• Preferred experience in neuro, vascular, general, GYN, and GU
• Excellent communication skills required

• Positive attitude and flexibility required
• Previous permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for this traveler position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and paid at a local rate
