Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring 2+ years of OR RN experience and a CA RN license.

• Works day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities, including reassignment within a 75+ mile radius if resource meets job specifications
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Extensive experience as an OR RN Circulator in GYN, General Surgery, OHNS, Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain, and Robotic procedures required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience circulating Ophthalmology procedures preferred
• Scrub experience in at least two lines of business preferred
• Completed references (2 from most recent employer) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Circulate a wide range of surgical procedures including GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Oral, and Robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Xi and SP systems)
• Any previous employment history with any University of California medical facility (or acquired facilities) must be disclosed for a rehire eligibility check
• RTO must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract; RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position due to travel experience requirement
