Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital, requiring 5+ years of OR experience, MA licensure, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a large, Level 1 trauma hospital
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Call requirements approximately 3 times per month, including weekday and weekend on-call shifts
• Weekend call shifts are 12 hours, either Saturday or Sunday
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, must be in hand
• Minimum of 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Independent experience with transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases required
• Experience across most surgical services required
• Copy of current flu vaccination required during flu season

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties, with emphasis on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must complete Tele/ECG and Medication pass/fail testing
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
