Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level I trauma experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 40 hours per week with no weekends required
• No call responsibilities
• Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations available

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Two professional references required (one must be from a Nurse Manager or higher)

Additional Information

• Perform surgical nursing duties including scrubbing and circulating for a variety of procedures across specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and more
• Complete a Pass/Fail EKG test during orientation as part of required testing
• Complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam during orientation
• Pre-start and orientation training modules required, with additional annual modules
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
• Candidates residing beyond the local radius must reside within 200 miles of the facility for consideration
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• Up to 14 days of requested time off may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment
