Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital requiring 5+ years of OR experience and MA licensure.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a large, Level 1 trauma hospital
• Requires experience across most surgical services, particularly transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call requirements approximately 3 times per month, including overnight and weekend 12-hour call shifts
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Large hospital and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Independent ability to work transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases required
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and scrub RN duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
