Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring transplant, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics experience on night shift.

Details

• Level I Trauma inpatient OR West unit consisting of 10 operating rooms
• Cares for patients undergoing bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney/liver transplant procedures
• Scrub and/or circulate duties for general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, urology, trauma, and organ procurement cases
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• No call requirements when working nights
• No floating or charge requirements

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Prior experience in kidney transplant, neuro, spine, ortho trauma, and robotics surgery required
• Experience in transplant, trauma, and neuro surgical procedures required
• BILH coversheet required at time of consideration
• Flu vaccination required prior to acceptance

Additional Information

• Provide OR scrub and/or circulating support across a wide variety of complex surgical specialties
• Eligible to work any holidays occurring during the contract
• RTO requests must be submitted and approved at time of consideration
• Orientation held weekly, typically every Monday barring a holiday
• Nurse manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Parking near the facility can cost up to $43 per day
