Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma facility, requiring both scrub and circulate skills across multiple specialties.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other Cook facilities within a 50-mile radius, with as little as 2 hours notice

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Level 1 Trauma OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating
• Required experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, Neuro, and Trauma surgical cases
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care including scrubbing and circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties
• Local candidates are welcome to apply within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• RTO limited to 5 days maximum with no more than 2 consecutive days off
• Weekend time-off requests will not be approved
• No holiday RTO permitted, including the day before or after a holiday
• Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exceptions; booster not required
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer
