Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: OR - Operating Room

- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Quick Summary
Position: RN – Operating Room (OR)
Shift: Days, 4×10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Location: Virginia (VA license required at submission)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Hard Requirements
- ✅ Active Virginia RN License (must be in hand)
- ✅ Minimum 2 years OR RN experience
- ✅ BLS
- ✅ ACLS
- ✅ CNOR
- ✅ Recent Epic experience (must specify months of Epic experience in the last year)
- ✅ OR circulating/scrubbing experience in multiple specialties
Surgical Experience Required
Candidates should have experience with many of the following:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Plastics
- ENT
- Podiatry
- Breast Surgery
- Laparoscopic procedures
- Arthroscopy
- Colonoscopy/EGD
- Hernia repair
- Cholecystectomy
- Thyroidectomy
- Cataracts
- Total Joint Replacement
- Trauma cases (preferred)
Submission Checklist
- Active VA RN License
- Updated resume
- BLS, ACLS, CNOR
- Interview availability
- Number of months of Epic experience in the past year
- Minimal RTO
- Proof of VA license
