LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California.

Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every Other Weekend
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a renowned academic medical center. This role requires a skilled perioperative nurse who is comfortable scrubbing and circulating for a wide variety of complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity, teaching hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care by scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile field, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist with specimen handling, blood product administration, infection prevention, and adherence to surgical safety protocols.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic.
Requirements:
- Active California RN License.
- BSN required.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
- Previous travel assignment required.
- Teaching hospital experience required.
- Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNOR and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with neurosurgery, spine, vascular, liver transplant, kidney transplant, and plastic surgery cases.
- Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System.
- Ability to assist with open, endoscopic, robotic, and complex reconstructive procedures.
Schedule & Facility Highlights:
- Day shift, Monday–Friday.
- Every other weekend rotation.
- Opportunity to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.

This assignment is ideal for an experienced OR nurse with strong scrub and circulate skills who thrives in a fast-paced teaching hospital and is comfortable managing complex surgical specialties and advanced robotic procedures.
