Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring independent circulating experience in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room Unit of a hospital environment
• Surgical procedures include orthopedic, spine, and neurological cases
• Variable shift start times (7a, 9:30a, 1p) with 10-hour day shifts
• On-call required at least one weekend per month, including rotating weekends and holidays
• 30 minute call-back/report time required
• No block scheduling
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license required
• 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience required
• Independent circulating experience in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred, especially in complex neuro, spine, ortho, and vascular cases
• Experience with DaVinci robotic cases preferred
• COVID medical/religious exemption accepted

Additional Information

• Function as part of the OR team, participating in rotation for mandatory overtime coverage as needed
• May float to other departments, units, or facilities within 30 miles of assigned facility
• Time off requests must be minimized and approved prior to assignment confirmation
• Accepts local candidates
• Local rate applies within 75 miles; radius rate also available
