Key Responsibilities

• Serve as circulator across multiple service lines including Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, Cataracts, OB/GYN, Urology, and Endoscopy
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures in a 6 OR, 2 Endoscopy suite environment
• Utilize MedHost Periop EHR system for documentation and patient management
• Provide care across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Fulfill on-call requirements of up to 8 days per month, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute response time
• May be asked to float within the department as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in Kentucky
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• PALS certification required prior to start
• Minimum of 3 years of OR/surgical nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated ability to circulate service lines independently across multiple specialties
• Experience with MedHost Periop or comparable perioperative EHR platform
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments in Ortho, General Surgery, and Endoscopy
