Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN Circulator)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Pratt, Kansas
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift
• Weekly Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Call Requirement: Weekend call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand or compact license at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience circulating a variety of surgical cases in the OR
• Strong clinical experience in orthopedics, including total joints, required
• Experience with general surgery and OB/C-sections required
• Experience with charting systems preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OR RN Circulator supporting safe, efficient surgical workflow
• Prepare the operating room and ensure readiness for scheduled procedures
• Circulate a broad range of cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, OB/C-sections, GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and more
• Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol throughout all procedures
• Support patient safety, infection control, and specimen handling standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to deliver excellent care
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
• Adapt to floating as needed to support unit operations
