Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring general surgery and ortho experience with call coverage.

Details

• Main OR unit of a hospital surgical department
• 24-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Neuro/spine surgical specialty focus
• Surgical patient population
• Uses standard OR equipment
• Epic EMR
• 5x8-hour shifts, 0600-1630
• Call requirements apply

Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact)
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications from AHA
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room specialty required
• General surgery and orthopedic surgery experience required
• Davinci Robot and Max face experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, and spine procedures
• Navy scrub color required
• No T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
