Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 - $2,440
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Call Requirement: Weekday and weekend call required
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Case Volume: Approximately 25 cases per day
• Specialty Focus: Heavy orthopedics with additional cases in general surgery, GYN, cysto, ophthalmology, ENT, podiatry, vascular, neuro, and thoracic surgery
• Location: Attleboro, MA 02703

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Strong orthopedic OR experience required, including circulating arthroscopies and total joint cases
• Must hold an active Massachusetts RN license in hand
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Experience with Epic or Cerner is helpful for consideration
• Ability to work weekday and weekend call
• Travel RN experience is not required, but first-time travelers with strong clinical experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Circulate orthopedic, general, and specialty surgical cases in a busy operating room environment
• Support arthroscopy and total joint procedures with a high level of orthopedic proficiency
• Assist with a broad range of surgical cases, including GYN, cysto, ophthalmology, ENT, podiatry, neuro, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative nursing care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to promote smooth case flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established workflows using the required charting systems
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled, including weekday and weekend call rotations
• Contribute to a positive team culture while adapting to a high-volume surgical setting
