Job Details:
**Qualifications and Requirements:** - **Education**: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a degree in a related healthcare field. - **Experience**: Typically requires 3 to 5 years of clinical operating room experience, with prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. - **Skills**: Strong leadership, crisis management, communication, and working knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile processing techniques. **Certifications and Licensure:** - AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certs required at time of submission. - KS or Multistate license required at time of submission. **Clinical Experience:** - Need to be able to help with pain management/HPM, specialty clinics (podiatry, cardiac, general surgery, etc.). - Must be able to assist with C-sections and recovery of patients. - RN OR Supervisor with L&D and PACU experience. - Requesting that the RN has PACU experience due to needing to assist in recovery of patients. **Leadership Experience:** - Oversee surgical schedules, room turnover, and patient flow to ensure efficient operations. - Staff Management: Handle staffing, shift scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and mentorship for OR nurses and surgical techs. - Compliance & Safety: Enforce hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements. **Preferred Additional Experience:** - If they have central sterile experience, that is helpful. - MUST have a strong background in CAH.
