Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN - Operating Room for an outpatient urology procedural setting requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of relevant experience.

Details

• Outpatient urology procedural setting at a clinic-based ambulatory surgery center
• Assists providers with procedures such as prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, and vasectomies
• Performs Foley catheter insertion, sterile field setup and maintenance, and procedural patient care
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, 40 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of relevant procedural nursing experience required
• CVOR RNs and Techs must have 18 months full-time experience in a similar acuity CVOR setting within the last 3 years with strong endovascular experience
• Experience supporting urology procedures required

Additional Information

• Fast-paced procedural environment supporting urology providers
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates permitted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment
