Travel OR Tech (Surgical Tech) - Obstetrics (OB)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Surg Tech - Labor & Delivery

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, no on call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 1 years minimum required
• Skills required: experience with above case types, assisting after vaginal delivery; will help set up delivery tables for vaginal deliveries/break them down for processing and help stock rooms
• Certification is not required however candidates must register with the state to work in the state
• BLS

Other Details:

• EMR: Epic
• First-time traveler accepted
• No floating
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: high and low risk antepartum, intrapartum, C-sections, emergent D&Cs, post-delivery tubal ligations, only unplanned hysterectomies
• Scrub Color: Dark blue, provided by hospital
• 388 total bed level 3 trauma center; 12 L&D beds: 3 ORs, 2 OB ER rooms; see 150 – 175 deliveries/mo
