Job Description

Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit maintaining an RN-to-patient ratio of 5:1
  • Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures (knee, hip, and shoulder) and spine surgery
  • Utilize orthopedic equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience with solid Medical/Surgical background
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior Orthopedic and/or Spine experience strongly preferred
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Energetic, empathetic personality with a collaborative team-oriented approach
