• Education Requirements: Completion of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Certifications Requirements:
  • Current Texas COTA License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong understanding of LTC (Long-Term Care) protocols
• Experience Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a long-term care facility or similar setting
  • Previous experience working with elderly populations preferred
  • Experience with rehabilitation protocols and documentation
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work scheduled hours from 8a-5p with flexibility for occasional shift adjustments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to review and interpret EMR documentation accurately
