Opportunity:

OT - Outpatient Lymphedema

Job Details:

• Schedule posted as 4x10s with 5x8s also available; manager is flexible with scheduling
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, and SLP on a regular basis alongside wound care clinic
• Collaborate with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors that support the lymphedema patient population
• Treat patients ranging from young/middle adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses including those requiring lymphedema care
• Daily census of 5-7 patients per day with a patient ratio of 5
• Hospital-based outpatient lymphedema patient population located within the outpatient rehab department
• Floating within facility/scope of practice to an acute care inpatient facility as needed
• If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification (must be in-hand at time of submission), Georgia OT License
• Lymphedema Certification is a hard stop requirement and must be in-hand to be considered

This hospital-based outpatient wellness and rehabilitation center provides specialized care for lymphedema and a variety of other conditions. The facility operates an interdisciplinary team environment, bringing together occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, wound care specialists, and lymphedema vendors to deliver comprehensive patient care.
