Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Oncology Clinic position requiring BSN, chemo certification, and BMT experience.

Details

• Outpatient oncology clinic setting with a focus on BMT and Hem/BMT patients
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Outpatient oncology experience required
• Outpatient Hem/BMT clinic experience required
• BMT experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history

Additional Information

• Provide oncology nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, including BMT and Hem/BMT patient populations
• May float to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75+ mile radius at any time during the assignment if qualified
• Any prior employment with a University of California medical facility or its acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates worked, units, and manager names for a rehire eligibility check
• 2 professional references from the most recent employer are required
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel positions
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager; no time off allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment, and no additional requests accepted mid-contract
