Description

American Traveler is looking for an Outpatient Orthopedics Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to join a hospital-based rehabilitation clinic.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting within a hospital
• Caseload includes post-operative orthopedic patients, total joint replacements, neck and back pain, spine rehabilitation, manual therapy patients, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions
• Clinic operates Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm, with Friday closing at 5pm
• Typical schedule includes 2 late shifts (10:30am-7pm) and 2 early shifts (7am-3:30pm), with some flexibility (e.g. 8:30am-5pm)
• Documentation completed using EMR

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Maryland Physical Therapy license required or eligibility for licensure (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Manual therapy experience preferred

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating orthopedic patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based one-on-one care
• Utilizes manual therapy techniques when appropriate
