Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal settings preferred.
• Experience performing 60-minute initial evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Professional conduct in accordance with state practice act and maintenance of required continuing education.
