Job Summary: The outpatient physical therapist position is located in ESTERO, Florida. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing patient education within an outpatient clinical setting. The therapist will ensure safe and effective care aligned with physician directives and organizational standards.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School, 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience, CPR Certification, active applicable license for the state where work will be performed, and minimum of 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of an assignment with the agency previously is highly desired; experience with the organization is a plus.
Additional Information: The physical therapist will complete comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document medical records accurately and timely, and participate in student programs. The role also emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, clinical reasoning, professional development, and compliance with state practice acts and licensure requirements. The position mandates knowledge of organizational performance improvement initiatives and fostering a positive learning environment.
