Job Details

• Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant
• Certifications and Education: Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an Accredited School, CAPTE Certified, CPR Certification, active license for the state where work will be performed
• Experience: 0+ Years of Outpatient Clinical Experience (highly desired)
• Schedule: Days, Shift Hours: 8, Minimum Hours Per Week: 40
• Assists the Physical Therapist in carrying out therapeutic interventions, including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, gait training, and use of modalities such as whirlpools, ultrasound, and therapeutic pools.
• Supports patient education on good body mechanics and proper use of assistive devices and equipment.
• Documents patient progress and response to treatment, maintains a clean and safe treatment environment, and complies with all safety and infection control policies.
• Participates in team conferences, special projects, and shares current literature and case studies with peers.
• Demonstrates proficiency in safety procedures, equipment use, and patient handling techniques.
• Must maintain active applicable licensing for the state of employment.
