Physical Therapist - Outpatient Pediatrics Rehab

Schedule

The Physical Therapist will work Monday to Friday, completing five 8-hour shifts per week. Please note that the Pediatrics Rehab Center operates on a weekday schedule and is closed on weekends and all major holidays.

Job Description

This position involves providing physical therapy services in the Genesis Outpatient Pediatrics Rehab Center. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for managing an existing caseload of 50 pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide patient and family education on rehabilitation and home exercise programs.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records in the EPIC EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least two years of recent pediatric rehabilitation experience is required.
• A valid Ohio Physical Therapist license is required (must not be in process).
• BLS certification is also required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
