Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN to administer chemotherapy in an outpatient hematology-oncology setting, requiring chemo certification and recent specialty experience.

Details

• Outpatient hematology-oncology clinic setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required with ability to administer chemotherapy
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology specialty required
• Trauma Level 1, oncology, or ICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology nursing care to patients
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
