Description

American Traveler seeks an Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with a California SLP license and 2+ years of experience to treat neuro rehabilitation and dysphagia patients.

Details

• Outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Treats neuro rehab patients including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and ALS
• Treats voice, dysphagia, and cognitive impairment patients
• Experience with TBI, SCI, and stroke patients preferred
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Language Pathology, or Communicative Disorders required
• Current unrestricted California SLP license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• SLP-CF certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• 1 year of related practice experience in patient care area preferred
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address
• Two professional references required at supervisor level or above

Additional Information

• Provide assessment and treatment for neuro rehabilitation, voice, dysphagia, and cognitive impairment disorders
• Develop and adjust individualized therapy plans based on patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Proof of vaccinations required for consideration
• Accepts local candidates living within 75 miles of the facility at the local rate
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application, with a maximum of 7 days and no additional RTO accepted after submission
