PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) RN - Nights Located in Englewood, CO. This seasonal travel opportunity involves providing high-quality post-anesthesia care in a busy surgical environment. The role encompasses caring for patients recovering from anesthesia following various surgeries, including neuro, orthopedic, and general procedures, within a comprehensive hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, minimum of 1-year current hospital PACU experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke care, critical care, and PACU.
• Responsibilities: Providing post-anesthesia recovery and monitoring, managing patient critical needs, and adhering to unit policies and protocols.
• Additional Information: The unit handles a high volume of neuro and stroke patients, performing procedures such as spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases. Expectations include working with GE monitors and Meditech EMR. The unit offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a skilled team and state-of-the-art equipment.
