Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialty Nurse opportunity in an acute care setting. The role involves providing high-quality postoperative care, including pre-op, post-op, and Phase I PACU responsibilities. The position requires a seasoned nurse with a strong team-oriented attitude, reliable and punctual, capable of floating within the department as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, starting at 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: IL Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), CPR certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, at least 3 years of solid core staff experience in an acute care setting, at least 2 successful travel contracts, submission of an updated resume showing above requirements, 2 references (including at least one from a recent travel contract in the last year from a supervisor in the PACU), updated skills checklist, and valid IL Licensure and certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Contract extensions are considered a plus
• Additional Information: The nurse will float within the department, with an imperative to be on time and ready to work at the start of each shift. Punctuality is critical, and tardiness cannot be tolerated. The team seeks an experienced PACU nurse with a positive attitude who is a team player, adaptable, and dependable. The position begins on 09/27/2026 and concludes on 11/08/2026.
• Experience Requirement: 3+ years of core staff experience in an acute care environment, with proven travel experience
