Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Wailuku, Hawaii. The role involves providing exceptional patient care before and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient stability, and adhering to clinical protocols. The position offers a full-time schedule consistent with daytime shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
  • Procedural Sedation Competency
  • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
• Additional Information:
  • This position requires adherence to facility protocols and clinical standards, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, recovery management, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
