Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN - PACU with a NM or compact license and 3+ years of trauma-level recovery experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM.

Details

• Work in the Phase I Recovery unit of a hospital PACU serving general surgery, ortho, neuro, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, and robotics cases
• 7-bed unit caring for adult mid to high acuity patients
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
• Uses Mindray equipment and Cerner EHR
• Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required for weekends and evenings
• Possible floating to PreOp and/or Endo units
• 13-week assignment with a projected start date of 7/27/2026

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of PACU/recovery experience required
• Trauma level recovery experience required
• RN degree required
• Peds and dental recovery experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide Phase I recovery care to post-surgical patients across multiple specialties
• Work in a 198-bed Level III trauma center that receives Level I and II trauma cases via air transport
• Facility offers state-of-the-art operating suites and is accredited in PCI, mammography, and laboratory services
