Job Summary
The PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in a healthcare facility serving the Four Corners region of the southwestern United States. This role involves providing recovery care for patients undergoing general surgery, orthopedic, neurological, obstetric/gynecologic, urology, ENT, and robotic procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work in a level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites, supporting a wide variety of high-acuity adult patient cases. The assignment begins on 07/27/2026.

Job Details

  • Location: Farmington, New Mexico
  • Shift: Days, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
  • Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN degree, BLS certification, ACLS certification, 3 years of experience in post-anesthesia or recovery unit, ability to clear and start within 10 business days of offer acceptance
  • Unit Profile: 7-bed unit, adult patients with mid to high acuity, patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, equipment includes Mindray monitors, Electronic Health Record system via Cerner
  • Position Information: Recovery nurse for general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, ENT, robotics; possibly assigned to Preoperative or Endoscopy units as needed
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be able to start within 10 business days of accepting an offer. Experience in trauma level recovery and pediatric recovery is preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
