Job Summary: Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Silver City, New Mexico. This position involves providing safe and effective care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the perioperative setting. The role requires flexibility to work in a rotating shift structure and involvement in on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
Schedule: Rotating shift; daytime hours, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification upon hire; ACLS (American Heart Association) certification upon hire; PALS (American Heart Association) certification upon hire; two years of related nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications: None specified
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: Responsible for assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and delivering safe care within the scope of practice to patients in the perioperative setting. Flexibility to work in both Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care settings, and willingness to take on-call as scheduled.
