Job Summary: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in a healthcare organization. The registered nurse provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of fundamental peri-anesthesia nursing standards and pharmacology to a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients. The position involves working within a high-acuity environment requiring specialized skills in airway management, nursing assessment, and medication administration.
Job Details:
Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS (AHA), CA RN Licensure, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years PACU RN experience in a high acute care hospital setting are required.
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting November 16, 2026, through February 15, 2027.
Additional Information: Candidates should be familiar with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, airway management, and perioperative procedures. Prior experience with Epic charting system, patient ratios, and interdisciplinary support is preferred.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload valid certifications and Nursys licensure documentation within the last 2 weeks. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
