Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility located in Lodi, California. This role involves delivering focused nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia, managing post-operative protocols, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires overseeing patient recovery, ensuring safety, and providing education and support to patients and families.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
• Essential Functions: Collects pertinent patient data; analyzes assessment information to determine diagnosis and care needs; develops and implements care plans; evaluates patient progress; collaborates with healthcare teams; provides patient education; participates in discharge planning; delegates tasks appropriately; performs additional duties as assigned
• Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions permitted where applicable. The organization participates in E-Verify to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
