Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse position is located in Burlington, Vermont. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment is for 13-16 weeks, with an ASAM (American Society of Anesthesiologists) start date of 07/27/2026. The role involves working in a unit that prepares and recovers patients for procedural areas such as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology, with a focus on adult and pediatric patient populations.

Job Details

  • Shift Hours: 12 hours
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum experience required; all candidates must have EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years, pediatric and adult experience, and recent trauma 1 experience at large (500+ beds), teaching facilities. Candidates should have prior travel experience preferred.
  • Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: IVS to OFFER; no block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Monday; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is required for submission; public transportation is not accessible, reliable transportation, personal vehicle, or rental vehicle are strongly recommended; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
