Job Summary: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safety and stability during their post-surgical phase. The position requires a commitment to quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
One (1) year recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensure and Certifications: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
Procedural Sedation Competency
Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in emergency room, intensive care unit, or PACU environment
Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pain management injection procedures
