Job Summary: The position involves working as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role requires providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, with a focus on recovery services for adult and pediatric patients. The position is scheduled for evening shifts and offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery processes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
2 years of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a clinical setting
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
Procedural Sedation Competency
Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the PACU environment
Minimum of 2 years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or PACU environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
Additional Information:
Ensure compliance with SOPs for patient recovery and procedural protocols
Provide comprehensive care to patients post-anesthesia, including pain management and sedation procedures
Maintain all required certifications and licenses throughout employment
