Job Summary: The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse role is based in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing critical postoperative care to adult and pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia. The role requires delivering specialized clinical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout recovery. This assignment spans from September 21, 2026, through December 27, 2026.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent clinical experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
Procedural Sedation Competency.
Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit environments.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an outpatient setting.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures.

Must have valid licenses and certifications as listed.
