Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 18 months of relevant experience and a GA or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• 3x10-hour AM shift schedule totaling 30 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of PACU experience required
• CVOR RN or CVOR Tech candidates must have 18 months of full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong endovascular experience and proficiency across cardiac and vascular procedures
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post anesthesia recovery care to patients following surgical procedures
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted (exceptions may apply for hard-to-fill positions)
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Strict RTO policy: maximum of 5 days off if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
• RTO requests during holiday periods must be spread out rather than consecutive
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
