Key Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the perioperative team to ensure safe patient transitions
Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience
Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as needed
Willingness and ability to work a 13-week travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols
Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
