**Exciting Opportunity for RN in PACU at Los Alamos Medical Center!** **Job Description:** - **Position Information:** - **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty:** PACU / Preop - **Number of Openings:** 1 - **Shift:** Days with some on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** Approximately 40 hours - **Weekend Hours:** On-call coverage as needed - **Call Requirements:** You’ll have 30 minutes to be at work once notified of a case - **Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS - **Years of Experience:** 2 years - **Float Requirements:** Shared position with Preop; no expectation to float elsewhere - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 3 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 or 1:2 - **EHR System:** CQI, Medhost - **Supervisor:** James Maxey - **Patient Population:** Primarily adult; ENT performed once a month - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills/Experience:** Prior PACU experience - **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** Experience in Preop and PACU - **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** Appendectomy, Gallbladder surgery - **Required Education:** RN - **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Not Applicable - **Unacceptable Attire:** Open-toed shoes, fake fingernails **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
