**Join Our Dynamic PACU Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - Be a part of an innovative Adult PACU with 18 bays and a team of 25 dedicated staff members. - **Team Structure:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 11 Registered Nurses (RNs), 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT). - **Night Shift:** Moving to 24/7 coverage with plans to hire additional night staff. Currently, 2 RNs on call for night cases. - **Patient Care:** - Maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for the first 30 minutes or during ICU level of care. - Transition to a 2:1 ratio once patients are stable. - Ensure that there are always 2 RNs present in PACU when a patient is admitted. - **Technology:** - Utilize Meditech Magic as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to enhance patient care. - **Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience. - Competency in ICU level of care. - **Preferred Skills:** - CPAN or TCAR certification. - **Ideal Candidate Attributes:** - Proactive and collaborative team player. - **Certifications Required:** - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). - Basic Life Support (BLS). - **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs. - **Schedule:** - Work Sunday through Thursday, 2300-0730. - No on-call requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
