Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for patients in an ambulatory surgery center setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
  • Monitor and manage patients recovering from general, ENT, GYN, plastics, orthopedic, spine, and pain procedures
  • Utilize EMR systems (SIS) as well as paper documentation to accurately record patient care
  • Collaborate with a team of RNs, charge nurses, and administrative staff to ensure safe and efficient patient throughput
  • Float to other surgery center locations on an as-needed basis
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to varying patient volumes

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience (2 years preferred)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in GI recovery settings
  • Experience in pain recovery or pain management procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-volume, fast-paced ambulatory surgery environments
